Add someone
Find someone by @handle, or share an invite.
Handles are for finding people. Payment details are separate.

Find a person
Open New chat, or Add a contact in Contacts, and search for their @handle. Claimed handles are public. Compare safety numbers with the person through a trusted channel to verify their identity.
Share an invite
Open “New chat” or “Add a contact” and tap “Invite someone”, then “Create invite” (on Android, open Add a contact and tap Create invite). Share the code or show the QR code. A code works once and lasts 30 days. If your friend doesn't have SILNT yet, they need it before they can use the code. Send it only to the person you're inviting.
Got an invite code?
Open SILNT and tap “I have an invite code”. It is on the Chats screen before your first chat, and in “New chat” and “Add a contact”. Scan the QR code or tap Paste, then Connect.
Start a group
Add people from the directory or share a group invite link. Reset the link if it reaches someone you did not intend to invite.
Send a payment
Once you are chatting, send bitcoin or USDt in the conversation. To receive from another wallet, use the payment details in Receive.
